MICHELIN STARRED RESTAURANT LOOKING FOR CHEF DE PARTIE/ÖLAND-SWEDEN

About us
Hotell Borgholm is a gastronomic hotel with a one Michelin star awarded restaurant. We are located on the beautiful island of Öland, on the Swedish east coast. The hotel and restaurant have a long tradition of world class gastronomy based on locally produced ingredients and a strong connection with its surroundings. The hotel holds a unique herb garden from where the kitchen creates the restaurants personal menus, and our wine cellar has one of the countries' most unique selections of fine wines. We serve tasting menus and à la carte.

We are now looking for two Chef de parties to join our team!

Tasks and requirements
We are looking for two Chef de parties as line cook, with varying tasks at different sections such as garni, cold section and meat section. The job includes preparations as well as running service on the section. We work with a modern style of gastronomy based on a high amount of herbs, vegetables and green produce. We also work with fish, shellfish, meat, poultry and game depending on the season and what is available.
As a Chef-de-partie you will get the chance to develop all your skills in a Michelin starred kitchen.

This position requires you to have education from a well-known culinary school including training as a Chef. You also have three to five years' experience from similar activities. Experience from a Michelin restaurant is preferably a merit.

Type of contract: seasonal, six months, with start in May 2022

Full time position: 40 hours a week

Salary: the salary is individual and is based on the Swedish Collective agreements, it is also according to contract. In addition, you will get paid for working inconvenient hours such as evenings or weekends.
