Microbiologist

We are looking for an experienced and driven Microbiologist, who likes new challenges and wants to be a part of the development of new products based on bacteria from the intestinal flora.
As a Microbiologist at MetaboGen, you will be an important part of our development team. You will work with anaerobic bacteria in the laboratory, with fermentation development and also with documentation during product development and early production phase.
In this role you will be based at MetaboGen's laboratory in Mölndal, Göteborg, together with the rest of the team. On occasion, you will spend time in our manufacturing plant in Eslöv.
Your main responsibilities will be
Microbiology laboratory work
Fermentation and process development work
Documentation and establishment of SOPs and related documents
Participation in meetings with the development team

Qualifications and competencies
Relevant academic degree with focus in Microbiology
Experience of microbiology work. It is an advantage if you have been working with anaerobic bacteria and in an industrial environment
Fermentation experience
Very good knowledge in English.
As a person, you are a team player with a "can do" mindset. You can work independently and take the responsibility to solve problems. In this role, it is important that you are accurate and structured.
