Description
Are you an open-minded, results oriented scientist eager to translate research into sustainable business?
We are now looking for a Microbiology Specialist to strengthen our central Microbiology team.
The team is responsible for the microbiological competence in Tetra Pak with the aim to drive, safeguard and control Tetra Pak´s Food Safety & Quality. You will be based in Lund as part of a highly specialized team located in both Germany and Sweden. The job will include up to 10% travelling abroad.
Main responsibilities
-Develop and realize microbiological verification strategies for filling machine sterilization and cleaning and packaging material sterilization Provide technical support for the Converting Factories
-Development, verification and maintenance of microbiological test methods, standards and acceptance criteria applied in aseptic and hygienic processes
-Based on scientific principles, participate and contribute in technology and product development projects
-Secure and develop microbiological capabilities
-Technology/Methodology Scouting
Qualifications
As a person, you use analytical and strategic thinking for systematic approaches in a high-quality and goal-oriented manner. You are a highly creative, decisive and reliable person able to naturally cross borders between departments or (scientific) disciplines. You are excellent at planning and wish to take responsibility. You learn quickly when facing new problems and enjoy the challenge of unfamiliar tasks. Furthermore, you are integrative and have a team-oriented personality.
Ideally, you hold a PhD degree in Food Microbiology. We think you should have successfully worked minimum 5 years in the area of Food Microbiology, Technical Microbiology and Microbial Pathogenesis, proven by publication(s) in relevant
peer-reviewed Journals. You have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
