Description: The Minibus Driver is a passionate adventure and nature enthusiast that never seems to get enough of the stunning beauty of the Arctic. With a positive attitude, the Minibus Driver brings the spirit of enthusiasm and safety for the land elements to our guests as well as the other team members. This includes efficient and comfortable transfers, as well as assisting in thoughtful and enthusiastic tour experiences
Daily work includes conducting transfers and assisting in tours, but also includes basic vehicle maintenance, writing reports and keeping track of inventory and spare parts. As a Minibus Driver you are involved in the routines and logistics related to tours and their routes.
The Minibus Driver will work in close relation to the Transportation and Logistics Manager, and will be part of the Adventure Team which consists of Tour Guides, Skippers, and other Adventure Enthusiasts. You may also participate in teaching the rest of the team members to be more active northern lights chasers, so we can all share in the joy and participation in nature’s beauty.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Transportation - Drives minibuses and Tesla’s for customer transfers and Northern Lights tours. Scout and navigate potential routes to successfully view the Northern Lights.
Planning for Customers Needs - Research various topics, including site history, environmental conditions, and clients' skills and abilities to plan appropriate expeditions, instruction, and commentary.
Tour Safety Consciousness - Keen on putting safety first. Monitor visitors' activities to ensure compliance with tour regulations and safety practices.
Accountability and Transportation Safety - Performs work in a safe manner at all times. Avoids shortcuts that increase health and safety risks to self or others. Maintains emergency supplies and/or personal protective gear. Includes ensuring vehicles are in working order.
Timeliness/Scheduling - is punctual at all times and cares about the timeliness of the tours and the guests.

Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license (D or D1 license)
CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) / YSK yrkessjåførkompetanse
PCV Licence / Kjøreseddel
Fluent in oral and written English
2+ years experience in the Outdoor/Adventure travel industry
Preferred Qualifications:
Passion for the outdoors, environment and Pukka’s Mission
Fluent in oral and written Scandinavian language
