Work duties
Your primary role will be to deliver the LOMP, long-term /mid-term designs both for stoping and development, moreover, to assist the on-site planning personnel with drill & blast and LHOS related tasks. Monthly and yearly follow-ups, various development projects will also be part of your duties.


Qualifications
We are looking for a mine planning engineer with at least a relevant Bachelor of Science degree and preferably a few years of underground experience to join our mine planning department at the Kristineberg mine. As our site is using the Deswik.Suite and Mining Data Management, MDM, it is also a plus if you are familiar with the software or similar mine planning systems.
Fluent English is required, any level of Swedish is an advantage. The ability to pick up Swedish quickly is utmost important. B-level driver´s license is a prerequisite.

Kristineberg mine is part of the Boliden Area Operations, located in Northern Sweden, a 600 Kiloton per annum(ktpa) cut and fill asset which is going through a fundamental transformation in the upcoming years. In 2021 our 150 MUSD mine extension project (the Rävliden project) got greenlighted and we are on track to build our new, state of the art mine, adjacent to our currently producing unit.
In doing so, we are also going to implement new mining methods with our new project, namely longitudinal and transversal open stoping.
