Job description:
As an ML Ops Engineer you will be working closely with our data scientists in operationalizing predictive models and building a robust environment for development, serving, retraining and model management. Our final deliveries are AI products generating scores daily, consumed by third-party systems (such as marketing automation systems, call center systems etc.)
We run on the belief that decisions are best made by the team members holding the most information, rather than managers or individual solution architects. As such we aim to maximize transparency across all hierarchy levels and in turn expect team members to assume high levels of responsibility for our shared deliveries and architecture.

Key responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain our production framework, utilizing and developing tools handling massive data volumes on AWS
Improve and support the data science development environment
Keep improving our model monitoring solution
Support productionization of new ML products
Any other potential improvements to the team’s products, tools and ways of working

Requirements:
Strong team player
Curious to learn what you don’t know and eager to share what you do know
5+ years in practical software development outside of academia
1+ year of experience of data software development/data engineering
Embracing Agile
Big Data principles
DevOps
CI/CD and IaC
Experience of working with cloud-based infrastructure
Proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language, e.g. Python
SQL

Considered as merits:
Exposure to ML development, MLOps and any work alongside data scientists
Comfortable with both structured and unstructured data
AWS stack
Experience of or certificates in agile specific roles, e.g. Scrum master
DW and Data Lake experience
Docker & Kubernetes
Airflow or other orchestration tool
