Mobility Experience designer

The new multi brand studio, Geely Design Center Gothenburg, is a part of the multi-cultural global network of Geely Design studios dedicated to supporting the efforts of Geely Auto Group sub brands. Our Design Center in Gothenburg is the global headquarters for Geely Design and focuses on delivering great design for the two brands: Zeekr and Lynk & Co.

We are a fast-growing team of both creative and management professionals with the task of delivering exciting global products suitable for volume production and innovative concepts. In an inspiring studio environment, we build and maintain a top-class design team of multiple nationalities. With best in class processes and tools we challenge preconceptions and deliver premium car design.

In the heart of Sweden's automotive cluster Gothenburg, we have concentrated all our efforts in the creation of the new brand in the Geely family, ZEEKR, and all of its coming products. ZEEKR has made its mark by sophisticated design and an appreciation of the connected world we live in. Today we are more than 250 people who work with coming ZEEKR products.

What you will do

This role includes creating compelling concept design proposals and present both verbally and visually. You will work cross-functionally with Color and Trim, UX, Interior, Exterior design and studio engineering teams to create user-centric, design driven solutions. You will be a part of an open-minded and supporting team, where we together create the future of mobility. High levels of creativity and vast problem-solving skills are essential for the role.

Required background and skills:

Bachelors or higher degree in Mobility / automotive design, industrial design.

Express a high level of creativity through sketching, digital sketching, and final digital rendering

Experience in Design field (OEM preferred)

Good knowledge of CAD 3D design process and software such as Blender, Alias, Photoshop, VRED, and PowerPoint

Familiarity with visualization software

Familiar with the design process from the sketch phase to concept modeling in Alias, clay physical modeling

Fluent English communication skills

Is it you?

Communicative with good verbal and visual presentation skills

Independent and confident as well as a good team player

Structured, methodical, and analytical with good planning skills

Ability to understand and analyze requirements from upper management

Highly motivated, flexible, and able to work under constrained time schedules

Show a high level of creativity and problem-solving skills
