We are expanding and creating a new team to deliver a more sustainable and modern installed base and grow together with our customers.
Alfa Laval’s Business Unit High-Speed Separators delivers solutions for the global Food, Beverage & Life Science markets. As part of Alfa Laval’s strategy to deliver customer value every day and become carbon neutral by 2030, we are increasing focus on our installed base of high-speed separators. Through the years, we have delivered ground-breaking innovations that improve our customers’ operations from both a performance and sustainability point of view. We will now increase our focus on taking an active ownership of impacting the total life cycle of our products, including their end of life.
The installed base offers a fantastic opportunity for us and for our customers, which is why we are building a team to leverage on this opportunity for growth. The objective of the team is to create and implement a growth plan to develop and package our total offering for upgrades and replacements, including end of life management.
This new cross functional team will consist of:
* Product and Portfolio Management, Installed base modernization
* Capital Sales Business Development, Replacements
* Service Business Development, Upgrades
Product and Portfolio Manager, Installed base modernization
As Product & Portfolio Manager you are responsible for our Upgrade and Replacement portfolios.
Your Main Responsibilities:
The Product & Portfolio Manager is responsible for our customer’s end-to-end journey with the portfolio, from promotion, quotation, supply to service and end of life.
You are responsible to review and analyse the competitiveness of our upgrade and replacement offer from a standpoint of customer and industry needs. Develop competitive and sustainable packages and value propositions for our installed base, based on existing upgrade and replacement opportunities as well as including end-of-life management. Together with our sales and service organization, identify growth opportunity and gaps to develop the portfolio, sales tools and marketing material in order to grow our upgrade and replacement business.
You inspire and lead across the organization to deliver a superior customer experience and a profitable growth for your portfolio and installed base.
Capital Sales Business Development, Replacements
As responsible for Business Development Replacements, you will drive the business of installed base replacements in close collaboration with central and local colleagues. You will also develop business models connected to the end of life of our products.
Your Main Responsibilities:
You will create and implement a business plan, assisting Alfa Laval Sales Companies in their activities and in achieving their targets. Working closely with colleagues in Service and Product & portfolio Management, you will analyse the installed base data, identify replacement opportunities, and drive successful implementation in the market. You work closely with key customers, gaining understanding of their needs and developing replacement strategies. You support all stages of the sales process, technically and commercially. This includes participating in customer visits, virtual meetings, webinars and trainings.
Service Business Development, Upgrades
As responsible for Business Development Upgrades, you will drive the upgrade business for our installed base and develop our business model for the end of life in close collaboration with central and local colleagues.
Your Main Responsibilities:
You will implement and follow up a business plan, assisting Alfa Laval Sales Companies in their activities and in achieving their targets. Based on input from our customers and analyses of our installed base you will define our potential for upgrades and together with the rest of the team prepare a business plan to grow our upgrade business. End of life of our customers equipment will be a focus area to support sustainability and one of the exciting tasks will be to develop the business model to support this area.
You will drive the upgrade business together with our central colleagues and our sales companies to reach the sales targets. Your main responsibilities will include supporting all stages of the sales process, technically and commercially, this includes participating in customer visits, virtual meetings, webinars, and trainings.
Who are you?
To become successful in these positions you have an analytical mind and have previous experience from marketing, sales and business development. You are fluent in English and a strong communicator who enjoys networking with Sales Companies and Customers in a truly global business environment.
We are looking for experienced people with strong business acumen and commercial drive. The successful candidate will have an engineering or business background from relevant product and/or industry and experience from business-to-business technical sales.
Practicalities
The positions are based in Tumba and will require some travelling.
