Music Development Manager

At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated catalog, with over 35,000 tracks, is tailored for storytellers, streaming services, and in-store soundtracks. Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We’re growing fast, have lots of fun, and are taking the music industry with us.

We are now looking for an organized, structured and self going Music Development Manager with great problem solving- and communication skills to join our Music team. This is a full-time temporary position (until June, 2023)

How you will make an impact

As a Music Development Manager you will be a part of the Music Development team at Epidemic Sound where lots of big decisions are made. You will have the possibility to influence our core business and our internal processes which also influences the music business as a whole. Your work with coordinating the music intake planning process is key to our Music Creators and to the company and helps to improve the team's workflow.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Coordinating and owning the execution of the track assignment process

- Owning the process of ensuring up-to-date Music Creator status in music planning systems

- Support Music Development in daily tasks

- Responsible for centralized communication toward Music Creators

- Managing the Music Creator Engagement Manager





Who you are

A super structured project manager with great administration skills. You have the ability to have many projects ongoing at the same time and be a good communicator and coordinator. It’s also key to this role that you have the ability to plan far ahead and manage time and projects accordingly. If you love making lists and writing stuff down you have found your home.

We believe you are/have:

- Previous experience from administrative work and project management

- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken

- Experience from the music industry and working with creative person is a plus but not a must
