Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) is a leading independent school group ("friskola") with academic results far above average and a diverse and energetic staff. Teaching is through both Swedish and English, with English the language of the corridors. IES is one of Sweden's largest school groups at "Grundskolan" with 36 schools and around 25,600 students across the country. IES has grown steadily and maintained quality since 1993.

IES Eskilstuna is one of the largest schools in Sweden with nearly 1,300 students enrolled in grades 1-9 and approx 140 staff members.

Are you a passionate MUSIC teacher interested in working in an international environment?

You enjoy working with young people in a developing and international environment. You have a strong drive and initiative and it is important that you are outgoing and have a good judgment.

We will always look for the best ways to teach, therefore we continuously develop our pedagogy together with our international colleagues.

We follow the Swedish curriculum LGR11.

We emphasize the importance of structure and order. Our School rules are important to hold a calm and safe working environment for both staff and students.
