Job description: The position as database administrator involves daily operations and development of the technical database infrastructure.The main area of responsibility will be the following: -Installation and configuration of MySQL -Deployment of changes and upgrades -Performance trouble shooting and analysis -Participate as a technical specialist in development- and project improvements -On call 24/7 will most probably be included in the assignment We expect the successful candidate to have a university degree in computer science, system design or similar areas.The candidate shall be a self-starter, structured, used to take initiatives and can independently complete the various tasks assigned.Further on, the candidate shall fluently express him/herself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English.The candidate shall also have at least 3 years of documented experience as a DBA, preferably within MySQL domain. Experience in one or both of following areas may be decisive: -Daily operations of mission critical high volume DB -Operations within the gaming industry
