MYP Music Teacher

Bladins School is an independent School consisting of a Swedish Preschool, Swedish Compulsory School, an International School and an Upper Secondary School, in total approximately 1500 students. We are located in Malmö, a large, vibrant city located in the south of Sweden.
The International School is authorized to deliver the IB Primary, Middle and Diploma programmes from the age of 3 to 19. The school is expanding and we are now looking for dedicated, international teachers to fill temporary positions on our team.

POSITION TITLE: MYP Music Teacher – 1 year contract, possibility of extension. Full-time 100%
EFFECTIVE DATE: 10st August 2020
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: MYP Music teacher. This position is a full-time position, covering for a teacher on extended leave.
Minimum qualifications & experience are the following:
B.A. Degree in Education or other relevant degree or teaching qualification
2 years relevant international teaching experience teaching language and literature in an IB, AP or IGCSE setting.
Familiar with the use of Google tools and Managebac
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
IB MYP or international teaching experience
Recent professional IB professional development in MYP.
Experience in highly multicultural settings
Experience in organising performance arts events together with students
