ISLK is an authorized IB World School offering the Early Years Programme (EYP), the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the Middle Years Programme (MYP) to students from 3- 15/16 years of age.

The language of instruction is English with courses being taught by highly qualified pedagogues with IB training and support. The focus is on developing intellectual, personal, emotional and social skills so students can live, learn, work and succeed in a rapidly changing world.

ISLK opened in August 2006 as a service to the international community in the city of Lund. It is available to children of temporary residents in Lund and surrounding districts, and to Swedish nationals who have had a predominantly international education. We’re expanding! Due to a growing number of students, we are looking for an additional colleague to join our inspiring school environment and dynamic MYP team. Are you qualified to teach in the subjects of Swedish Language and Literature, and Swedish as a Second Language (SvA) and would like to become our new colleague?

In this position you will:
-  Teach, collaborate and provide planning following the IB MYP curriculum model, using an inquiry conceptual-based approach in teaching and learning in the subjects of Swedish Language & Literature and Swedish Language Acquisition
- Work in alignment with the standards and practices of the IB MYP framework
- Work as a mentor for students in a specific year group Perform other related duties as assigned 



Qualifications & experience:
-  Certified and trained MYP Swedish Language & literature and Swedish language acquisition teacher
- High proficiency in English
- Experience of working with inclusive practices & education
- Demonstrated leadership skills in the classroom Previous IB MYP teaching experience  



Desired:
- Experience of working in a multicultural and multilingual settingIB training
