MYP teacher

As empoyees of the commune we spend out workingdays among people. We make a difference and influence peoples everyday lives. We contribute to the Life quality of people. We do this every day. Because of this we feel that we have the most important job in Sweden.
Internationalschool of Älmhult has grown rapidly since it opened in 2000 and has a current population of over 250 students.
The school was authorised for Interantional Baccalaureate´s Primary Years Programme in may 2003 and for the Middle Year program in 2009.
The classes are small and all lessons are given in English.


ARBETSUPPGIFTER
The task for this post will be to:
- teach in MYP classes, students age 11-16 years, can also be to hold mentorship
-undertake all teaching responsibilities as outlined by IBO and the school.
-complete documentation as required
-work interdiciplinary with staff at the school and other schools

KVALIFIKATIONER
The successful applicant will have an adequate level of edjucation (University or similar) in appropriate subjects. The applicant must be flexible and able to respond to the needs of a changing team within a growing workplace.

We are looking for a member of staff with IBO teaching experiece and who has attended IB courses
