We are recruiting a National Sales Manager, with the important mission to further develop our Business Development team and sales activities for our Swedish organisation. About the position

The Business Development department is the commercial driver of our growth. As National Sales Manager you will lead and develop the national sales organisation, in line with the regional BD strategy and the national business plan. You will have the overall responsibility for sales, marketing and communication in Sweden. This includes customers, volume, growth and profitability, but also how we communicate and brand our company. You will be driving our sales and marketing activities, in close collaboration with the Business Development team. The team consists of about 40 employees, of which you will have three managers reporting to you. You will be part of the Swedish management team and liase on regular basis with regional and global colleagues within sales and business development.

Your key accountabilities will be: 



- Full staff responsibility for three direct staff.
- Inspire, develop and support your team.
- Act as an ambassador and live our leadership principles and values. 
- Implement and align company processes, policies, and routines. 
- Contribute to the development of the overall plan and budget for Sweden.
- Ensure effectiveness of sales as well as optimal customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement sales plan and budget, based on regional and national business development strategy.
- Act as first line of contact and cooperate with all functions within the organization to ensure optimal customer service.
- Ensure identification and targeting of prospects as well as efficient implementation processes.
- Optimize offering and set-up of current business solutions as well as ensure the identification of new opportunities to meet customer/prospect needs.
- Initiate and drive projects regarding organisational development within sales, marketing and communication.


You will frequently do business travels within Sweden, both customer visits and meeting your team members around the country. As Sales Manager you can be placed at any of our offices in Sweden. You will report directly to Country Manager Sweden. This is a permanent position, starting on agreement.

Your background

We are looking for a leader who acts as an ambassador, with passion for developing and motivating others. To succeed in this role, we believe that you have profound sales experience with focus on complex solution selling (B2B) with documented good results, during 5 years as a minimum. You have previous experience from leading and developing a team. Professional communication skills, both in English and Swedish, are required.

Merits:

- Comprehensive understanding of freight forwarding and the logistics industry.
- KAM experience with focus on finding new customers.
- University degree on Bachelor level within a relevant field.
