Urology and Pelvic Health (UroPH) as an EMEA growth lab and significant business driver, is in the fortunate position to have an increasing share of highly innovative therapies in our product portfolio - as well as a strong pipeline of innovations within the next three years.
In order to ensure that we can maximise the impact of these innovative product ranges, we are recruiting a National Sales Manager to lead our Nordics team, to deliver a solid foundation for future growth. This person will enable the UroPH division to accelerate on our customer centricity journey to distinguish ourselves from competition in providing customer excellence and value. The Nordics region is one of the key focus areas for BSC in EMEA, with significant opportunities for growth in several franchises we serve.
Role requirements:
Experience with managing a diverse team: Develop and motivate a dedicated team of Regional Sales Managers.
Creation and execution of business strategies: prepare and execute the annual operating plan in line with the mid-to long term divisional and EMEA business plans
Leadership and people management skills
Experience in medical environment and with implantable medical devices and a solid expertise related to the healthcare systems across the Nordics region (reimbursement, pricing, etc). UroPH experience is preferred but not essential.
Proven experience of working in a matrix environment with cross-divisions across the Nordics and throughout EMEA
Expert in networking and influencing internal and external stakeholders
Proven experience in good decision-making skills and strategic business vision
Excellence and Proficiency of P&L management: financial and budgeting aspects
Local , Nordics language skills are essential together with fluency, written and spoken in English
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent negotiating skills
Master strategy execution
Profile:
Ability to recognize and assess business obstacles, develop alternative solutions, share solutions within the broader organization and create and maintain positive team energy
Excellent communication and organizational skills and can deal with ambiguity and multiple demands
Hands on approach to leadership (hence the substantial time spent in the field with the sales force and to maintain strong KOL relationships)
Set an example and lead from the front
Foster a diverse workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential in pursuit of organizational objectives
Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo
Minimum of Bachelors’ degree (advanced degree would be a plus)
Strategic leadership
Track record in driving execution and change management
Track record in effectively managing sales managers is a plus
