It is an exciting time to join the dedicated Sea Logistics team at Gothenburg, Sweden.
We are looking for a professional with extensive knowledge and expertise in the freight forwarding industry with a focus on Sea Logistics and a great affinity to systems and processes.
YOUR ROLE
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Processes and Systems functions in the Swedish Sea Logistics business unit working closely with our colleagues ensuring optimal system usage and excellence in our processes.
YOU’RE RESPONSIBILITIES
You will deliver day-to-day process support to our sea logistics production systems team and customer service tools in cooperation with our colleagues.
Oversee and ensure the delivery of trainings related to system enhancements, sea logistics forwarding, process optimization and other advanced trainings.
Ensure high operational data quality via analysts, reviews and action planning together with the stakeholders, both locally and regionally within Sea Logistics.
Support and oversee supplier electronic data interfaces (EDI) via definition of requirements, support and communication with IT teams and Sea Logistics Process Excellence teams for specifications.
Drive process optimization and support the implementation of changed processes to improve the quality of operational processes and systems
Act as the interface between IT and the business by defining and communicating system requirements in cooperation with regional team.
Drive the analysis of operational procedures for customers and suppliers; Assist with documenting and producing solutions.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
You must have excellent knowledge of freight forwarding processes within Sea Logistics or Internal Supply Chain.
Educational degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Information Technology
Logical and analytical mindset and excellent communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skill set with listening abilities and an inquisitive approach
Presentation and MS PowerPoint skills, MS Excel Skills
Previous experience in project management and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is preferred.
