Nautical Inspector (QA/ISM) Trainee

The company Rederi AB Väderö Tank was established in 1991 and manages three oil/chemical tankers in worldwide trade.

We are now hiring for the position as Nautical Inspector (QA/ISM) Trainee to our Grebbestad office.

As a candidate, we prefer that you have a higher degree within shipping, logistics or nautical science and are comfortable with having English as your working language (both oral and written).
The successful candidate is flexible, independent and committed. It is important that you work well under pressure and manages stress efficiently. As a trainee, you will join our team and learn quality assurance, maintenance systems, and internal/external audits of our three vessels. You will maintain close contact with vessels, suppliers and agents as you will also be trained in our purchase department. Later on, there is a possibility of joining our team permanently, where some on-call duties are involved.
