Navigators - New Product Development

Description Sandvik Materials Technology is a business area within the Sandvik Group and a world-leading manufacturer of high value-added products in advanced stainless materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials, as well as process plants and sorting systems.Annual sales are about SEK 17,000 M with 8,400 employees.The product area comprises Tube, Strip, Wire, Kanthal and Process Systems.An extensive change program for new product development is currently running at SMT as a part of SMT Business System.We have an immediate need to strengthen our team with experienced change leaders, navigators, that are interested in working with implementation of the changes within SMT.Key performance areas Responsibilities within the change program include: -Plan and run diagnosis and transformations in organizations at SMT globally.-Perform Future State workshops and system audits.-Plan and run workshops on lean R&D.-Coach organization on new ways of working with project management.-Coach organization on R&D project portfolio and in preparation of portfolio meetings.-Implement and refine the new R&D project process.-Assist in preparation of project review meetings.-Run pilots on large scale production and commercialization.-Introduce new project management tools.-Train all personnel in new ways of working.-Coach the organization in the change process.-Inform the organization through newsletters and workshops/seminars. Your profile We are ideally looking for experienced persons with a Masters degree in Engineering or Business.Preferrably at least 5-10 years experience from project management, product management, production or relevant management positions ensures that we add valuable experience required to drive the change program in an efficient way. As a person you are a respected and good communicator and team player and also a role model for the organization.Self confidence and commitment to deliver and meet deadlines are essential in the change program.Other skills required are good problem solving capacity and strong analytical mind, comfortably handling complex issues.Good computer skills including advanced Excel, Power point and MS project is a definite advantage.The position offers a unique possibility to gain experience on product development and Business analysis of projects.It is an aim that navigators within this program could advance to new challenging positions as high profile project leaders, chief project managers, who will have overall responsibility for development and introduction of new products to the market.
