We are searching for Need Planners for our talent bank ? talented people with the ambition to join us now or over the next 12 months. As a part of the recruitment process we will carry through an Assessment Centre the 3rd-4th of September.

As a Need Planner you will be globally responsible for securing that our customers' needs are, in terms of volume, continuously being matched against the capacity plan. Your role is essential for IKEA to secure our customer success. In your new assignment you are responsible for balancing the total need and capacity per supplier, category and material. This requires that you are comfortable with taking the lead and that you are able to operate efficiently in a high-energy dynamic environment. In your new assignment you steer the product change process and communicate the plan to our trading areas and supply team.

Is this your next challenge?
To be successful in this role you need to have 3-5 years of experience within supplying or have a degree within logistics. You have to like challenges, like to perform, be action-minded and results focused. You find your drive in problem solving and handling parallel work on many different issues. You are fluent in both spoken and written English. Knowledge from retailing is an advantage. If you have an interest in production planning that is also a huge plus.

As a person you have strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking. You enjoy working in a structured way according to fixed time frames and deadlines. You are detail oriented and accurate with a problem solving approach. You have strong communication skills and you are not afraid to take the lead.
