As a Need Planner you will be globally responsible for securing that our customer's needs, in terms of volume, continuously are being matched against the capacity plan. Your role is essential for IKEA to secure our customer success. In your new assignment you are responsible for balancing the total need and capacity per supplier, category and material. This requires that you are comfortable with taking the lead and that you are able to operate efficiently in a high-energy dynamic environment. In your new assignment you steer the product change process and communicate the plan to our trading areas and supply team. This is a permanent position.

Is this your next challenge?
We are looking for you that already work at IKEA of Sweden or IKEA. You have relevant work experience within supplying and you may also have graduated from this area. To succeed in this assignment you have to like challenges, like to perform, be action-minded and results focused. You find your drive in problem solving and handling parallel work on many different issues. You are fluent in both spoken and written English. Knowledge from supply chain is an advantage. If you have an interest in production planning that is also a huge plus.

As a person you have analytical skills and you enjoy working in a structured way according to fixed time frames and deadlines. You are detail oriented and accurate with a problem solving approach. You enjoy being both communicative, creative and are not afraid to take the lead.
