About the role
As an Architect you will work within our domains Assortment & Product Development or Sourcing and Production. You will play a leading role in technical development and architecture and have the chance to build new experiences, improve existing products and be a driver in transforming our tech landscape. Actively seeking ways to shift its design into a cloud enabling microservices architecture. You will mentor and upskill junior engineers through best practices for the full software development life cycle. You will have a decisive impact on how we shape the future of fashion as well as set new standards for how the industry works with sustainability.


Some of your daily work includes:
Design, develop and support the solutions in the products.
Translate strategies and requirements into modern and scalable solution designs.
Use an experimental mindset to identify, evaluate and recommend alternative designs.
Collaborate with other product teams to help and provide the best end-user experience.
Seek opportunities to automate, document and improve processes.

Responsibilities
You will be a part of a global cross functional agile product team of amazing professionals working with a range of end-to-end solutions from custom built to COTS solutions. Establishing a holistic view of how the solution adds value to the business. Therefore we believe you have the ability to apply leading software development practices and present alternative solutions and technical choices. To do this, we think you have a curious mindset, excellent communication skills as well as:
Excellent programming skills in C# .NET
Strong experience in system architecture & software design patterns
Strong experience of designing and developing APIs, microservices, and system integration architecture.
Experience in Cloud, CI/CD, containerization and test automation.
Have acted as a leader and have leadership experience

In this role there is also a possibility to join as a Competence Lead. This is optional but would mean that you have a dual focus; including both staff responsibility and contributing operationally within your product team. You act as the employer's extended arm – to follow and implement H&M Group's vision, goals, strategies and values, as well as acting as an ambassador always supporting your employees.
