We are looking to expand one of our development teams with an experienced .net Software Developer, preferably with experience from working with Test driven development and Continuous Delivery in DevOps teams. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves to solve problems, provide quality for our users, and collaborates well in a dedicated and focused team. You bring energy, creativity, a solution-oriented mindset and perhaps some humour, and we’ll pair you up with some of our most talented developers to help you grow and deliver.

We are currently working in a hybrid office/remote environment allowing for a certain degree of freedom in planning your workday.
What you’ll do:
You will join the Order Management & Planning product cluster within Digital Core at Volvo Cars. This product cluster delivers digital solutions that improves stability and consistency in the production plan, which will enable us to provide shorter and more accurate lead times to our end customers. You will be part of the journey as we deliver on our company’s vision and ensure high flow through our factories. We use modern tools and agile methods to create business value continuously. We ensure high quality and adaptability in our delivery. Collaboration is the key, and of course we’re making sure to have fun while doing it.
The product Capacity Management is delivering volume & capacity data used by procurement for sourcing towards our suppliers using our application Sourcing Prerequisites Tool. After sourcing all contracted capacities are stored and continuously maintained over time in the application. Today the team consists of a PO, Scrum Master and 4 developers. We have several business stakeholders and there is also a solution architect in our cluster.
What you’ll bring:
We are responsible for implementing, testing and operating our services, so we also have our hands on packaging our services and setting our pipelines. Therefore, we're looking for a collaborative teammate with some strong skills in preferably all but at least some areas below:
C# .net (net 6), GIT / Azure devops, Entity Framework, Sql Server, MongoDb, React, Kubernetes, Azure cloud, LinuxGeneral.
You are a curious and open-minded person who are genuinely interested in developing your skillsets together with a team. You are willing to develop into a T-shaped profile by expanding your knowledge over time into different areas of specialization. You should care about delivering with quality and be detail oriented, but also be able to make the call when a solution is good enough.
