Network Consultant | Gothenburg

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Network Consultant with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day operations include resolving incidents, working on continuous improvements, and assisting in the design of new network functionality, new features, and implementation.


Assist in advanced network optimizations, capture requirements, research and identify solutions, including Proof of Concepts, in collaboration with business development areas (example connected cars).


Assist team members and external teams with problem solving and improvement. Identify and lead initiatives with your team members.


Individual work and group efforts are divided among the tasks. It is critical that you have a strong ability to collaborate with customers, suppliers, and coworkers. We believe you are a self-motivated and engaged individual who seeks and readily shares experience and knowledge with others.


You will be given a high level of trust and will be given the authority to solve problems in order to ensure that the company receives IT services that meet our current and future needs. You will be part of a small agile, self-organized, cross-functional team where your decisions will be taken seriously.




Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:

Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
Hands-on experience with advanced enterprise networks, including datacenter and campus/office networks.
Understanding of IT infrastructure components such as VMware, Kubernetes, Linux Server, Backup, and Storage.
Knowledge of WAN solutions and networking protocols such as BGP.
Cisco CCNP Enterprise, Fortinet NSE 5, and Arista ACE 3 certifications are examples.





Other:
It would be advantageous to have the following:
Experience with Arista or Fortinet technologies such as NGFW or WiFi is a plus.
Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent is required.
Working experience in datacenters - design, implementation, and operation
