Network Engineer 5G

Northab is looking for Technical Network Admin & Linux for one of our custromer

As Network Engineer you will work with development and deliveries of test environments for 4G/5G. The domain you will work with consists of products for network elements which needs to be combined and set-up to work as a functioning and stable environment. They exist in both integrated versions with dedicated hardware, and as virtualized versions that run on different hypervisors such as OpenStack (CEE+RedHat), VMWare as well as Cloud Native platform using Kubernetes.

Responsibilities & Tasks

Teamwork on support and supply of test equipment to R&D.

Design, configure, integrate and maintain PODs, network elements and tools into test channels.

Maintain a stable environment and strive to optimize the network elements and solutions.

Respond to technical support queries and provide solutions to stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems or Network Technology.
- High understanding of data communications and networking, including routing protocols such as BGP, routing contexts/VRFs, and switching in a mixed IPv4/IPv6 environment.
- Experience with Network Management Systems and monitoring of critical infrastructure.
- Good troubleshooting skills in both physical and virtual networks.
- Experience working with integrating and troubleshooting applications installed on virtualization platforms such as OpenStack and Kubernetes.


Preferred skills:

- Experience working in a Linux environment is an advantage.
- JNCIS certification is advantageous.
