Network Engineer, Karlskrona

ELITS is looking for a talented Network Engineer in Karlskrona! As a Network engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for the hub security and network in an enterprise level architecture. The focus is on high availability and performance.

The tasks may be divided to both individual and work in projects. It is important that you have a great ability to co-operate with customers, suppliers and colleagues. The ability to handle teamwork and co-operation is an important skill to maintain a high standard and a quality delivery to our customers.

Some of many possible duties and responsibilities may include:

Formulating, developing, and implementing integrated network architectures.
Following network/security systems standards for wide area, equipment, system security, and routing protocols.
Providing project management support in the implementation, installation, and configuration, of networking architecture; coordinating projects with other departments and external organizations.
Install, configure, and maintain network operating system and application software, as appropriate; provide on-call support as required.
Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Juniper Network switches and firewalls - Junos
and/or Cisco switching - NXOS
Virtualized environments is seen as a merit
Fluency in Swedish and/or English, written and spoken

This position is a project employment that runs approximately 6-9 months. For the right candidate, there is potential for a permanent employment extension.
