For the Network Operations team we are now looking for an experienced and ambitious
Network Lifecycle Engineer (f/m/d)
for one of our offices in Stockholm, Berlin, Hamburg, Gliwice, Katowice or Amsterdam.
You should be passionate about the job and enjoy a fast-developing international working environment. Your working results will take customer satisfaction and Network delivery to the next level. Your job is the central hub for Network solution delivery, asset and stock handling.
In your role you will become part of a ‘technical Back Office’ supporting the lifecycle of network devices operated by Network Operations, Special & Security Operations as well as of network devices operated by our sourcing partner.


Your Job as Network Lifecycle Engineer (f/m/d)
Entire Network delivery management
receive and understand the customer request
select internal standard solution - eventually with support of a Network engineer
compile the related offer
initiate the related delivery process to order at suppliers/providers
monitor delivery time
validate delivery (functional, financial, documentation)
control final billing / reporting
contribute to internal standard definitions
Provide frequent feedback to product and engineering domains, in order to optimize our standard portfolio


Internal Network device stock management
keep inventory up to date
manage the stock ins and outs
keep stocks filled-up due to needs by forecasting - place orders for stock items
related budget planning


Network device asset management
ownership of the Network assets defined in the CMDB
manage ins and outs / maintain content of asset CMDB fields
validate CMDB quality
forecast Network lifecycles on device level
related budget planning


Your Profile as a Network Lifecycle Engineer (f/m/d)
You are able to work on bachelor/university level, open minded and willing to learn
You have at least 5 years of experience as pre-sales network engineer, system integrator or comparable
You are familiar with relevant Network building blocks and technologies
You know the functionalities, possibilities and limitations of the standard product portfolios of Cisco, FortiGate and Checkpoint
You have experience in outlining industrial standard designs (office LAN/WLAN, WAN/MAN, …)
A few years praxis in Network operations will support you in your job
Knowledge in scripting for automation (e.g. Python, Excel, PowerBI, …) is preferred
You are used to acting as a delivery interface between internal customer requirements (projects), engineers and suppliers/providers
Customer satisfaction and on time delivery is your daily passion
You worked in an ITIL driven organization (CMDB, INC, …) and used appropriate tools
Asset and stock management isn’t a foreign word for you
You have an independent / autonomous workstyle while being a team player as well
You are a good communicator (fluent verbal and written English) towards all kind of stakeholders (internal customers and service management, IT department and suppliers / external partners)
You have experience in steering of external providers, suppliers and partners
