About this opportunity
The Network Performance and Evolution team in Ericsson´s market area Europe and Latin America supports mobile network operators with the analysis and advice needed to be network performance leaders. The team consists of world class presales specialists working as a flat and highly collaborative organization. We are in the forefront both in terms of technology, e.g. how to deploy 5G, and use of sophisticated analytics to generate valuable insights for our customers.

We are looking for a savvy and experienced technical sales support colleague eager to drive the network performance while supporting the evolution to 5G SA with multiple operators across Europe and Latin America.
As superior network performance is at the heart of everything we do, this role offers an opportunity to develop and excel in the areas of technology strategy, business development and thought leadership while securing the best performance for operators across Europe.
The key challenge & opportunity is to help the operator evolve cost effectively into 5G SA, demonstrating the value and the innovation of Ericsson’s RAN software offering, drive strategic plans for performance leadership that support the CSPs’ business objective to monetize on the 5G investments, secure that 5G can be a game changer for performance-driven operators while enabling new revenue streams and innovative business models.
You will collaborate with the customer and internally across the Customer Unit, Pre-sales practices and Business Area teams.
The ideal candidate has a strong winning approach, experience in C-level engagements, a proactive and collaborative attitude with a high dose of innovative thinking, consultative selling skills, strong presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills.


What you will do
Support network performance customer engagements in market area Europe and Latin America.
Benchmark performance versus other networks through E/// KPI comparison and data analytics or external sources (Ooklaa speedtest, Umlaut Crowdsourcing)
Proactively identify and drive customer engagement opportunities in order to grow the business and secure the best network performance using innovative methodologies and tools to analyze operators’ networks.
Create proof points, articulate and demonstrate the customer value of our offerings, create portfolio positioning and preferences and craft performance leadership messages that supports Ericsson 5G SA network evolution strategy
Analyze performance evolution with traffic growth, predict bottlenecks in capacity and recommend 5G-NR deployment strategy that secure performance leadership to operators
Analyze technology solution that enhances the customer's driven position through network performance modeling (simulations) of advanced technology such as Massive MIMO and 5G-NR deployment considerations
Perform evaluation of different scenarios and advice Ericsson customer’s in decision process for the most beneficial RAN investments and enhanced end-user experience both for purpose-built solutions and for future cloud based technologies
A typical network performance customer engagement address operator Head of RAN/Network and C-level and include analysis of 4G and 5G capacity needs and deployment strategy
Drive thought leadership (e.g. operator strategy for best performing networks, value argumentation & sales innovation), share standard and innovative methodologies, share best practices and facilitate collaboration across MELA and with Business Areas.



You will bring
Deep understanding of radio access network technology - RAN
Experience running and interpreting performance analysis
Data analytics and programming skills will be considered as advantage (Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, MySQL, Java, C/C++, Matlab, R)
Outstanding interest and capability in leadership and communication
Ability to influence customers
Consultative approach always seeking for a phenomenal outcome for everyone with customer and internally
Always seeking creative solutions
Ability to simplify complex matters while not neglecting important details
People leadership, senior capability in handling and leading change in large, complex, and cross-functional teams
