Assignment Description:
We are looking for an experienced Network Subject Matter Expert to join our dynamic team
What you will work on:
Develop and implement comprehensive firewall policies for safeguarding critical OT systems and networks, ensuring security and continuous operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and address specific security challenges in OT environments.
Leverage VMware NSX-T platform to manage and execute firewall policies effectively.
Provide expert guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding firewall policy-related matters.
Resolve intricate network and security issues, conducting thorough incident analysis and troubleshooting.
Assist during Program Go-Live milestones and Hypercare periods, ensuring smooth transitions.
Document firewall policies, configurations, and changes, maintaining accurate records for audits and future reference.

What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Relevant certifications (CCNA Security, CCNP Routing & Switching, CISSP, VMWare Certified Network Virtualisation) preferred.
Experience in defining and implementing firewall policies within OT environments.
Proficiency in Routing and Switching technologies and protocols.
Hands-on experience in configuring and managing VMWare NSX-T based network technologies. Familiarity with other firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Palo Alto) advantageous.
Working knowledge of Cisco Nexus 9K series datacenter switching platform.
Familiarity with OT applications like TOS, GOS, EDI, SCADA, PLCs, etc., and communication protocols (MODBUS, Profinet, MQTT).
Solid understanding of enterprise applications and protocols (Active Directory, DNS, NTP, Syslog, RDP, HTTP/HTTPS, databases, etc.).
Basic understanding of forward and reverse proxy technologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at devising effective security solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proactive mindset for continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies and threats.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Strong attention to detail, committed to maintaining security and compliance standards.
Proficiency in switching, routing, and load balancer deployment.
Detailed knowledge and hands-on experience in NSX-T configuration and maintenance.
Experience with NTP and DHCP configuration.
Proficient in resolving L1/L2/L3 technical incidents with at least 4/6 years of experience.
Hands-on experience with remote access solutions.
Competency in network security, encryption, and authentication services.
In-depth understanding of WAN, LAN, and network architecture.
Familiarity with network zones and IP schema.
