Network Solution Architect

Are you passionate about Network architecture? We are looking for a business-oriented Network Solutions Architect to join our family of world class network competence.

- Provide the best network solutions in banking
- Be a part of transforming Swedbank’s core infrastructure with next generation network capabilities and in parallel supporting Swedbank’s major tech -and business initiatives cross Swedish -and Baltic markets
- Challenge yourself every day to ensure we continue providing our five million active customers cross Sweden and Baltics with stable future proof services
- Build a close relation and cooperation with teams across all tech and business areas, as network is a common denominator in most initiatives
- Be instrumental in our network teams’ success by being close to them day to day as well as your main stakeholders
- Contribute to the strong architect community in Swedbank and support our domain Architect in driving the network architecture forward, on prem and for Swedbank´s cloud journey
- Help structure our way of working with architecture in our network teams and raise the bar in solution documentation
- Work in all network related areas such as core networking, firewall, load balancing, cyber security, network automation and management tools.
- Deliver towards challenging targets with a lot of mandate and freedom in how to reach these goals

What is needed in this role:
- Experience in building -and operating complex networks at scale.
- Deep knowledge of networking technologies and abstractions in modern architectures.
- Solid understanding of layer3/layer4 networking, SDN, network security, network automation and data center
- Deep empathy for users and their business goals
- Ability to translate network- and security requirements implementation into formal written architecture descriptions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field, or a great reason for not having that
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
