Network Solution Architect

In order to strengthen our team of skilled engineers, we’re now looking to add one more person in the Solution Architect capacity; primarily focused on digital network connectivity solutions but with a secure framework.

So, let’s talk about the job
As our Network Solution Architect, you convert business requirements into technical requirements, as you create technical design of network solutions, products, and services. You’re the first point of contact for solution design, and you develop and update the design of assigned services or products in partnership with suppliers and partners. You always ensure alignment with our architectural standards and that customer needs are met.
Also included in your mission is to:
Develop and anchor technical roadmaps for service including their components.
Lead technical design work with 3:rd parties or in-house resources.
Manage the lifecycle of products.
Validate the quality and design of solutions suggested by suppliers

Where’s the office?
While this position offers flexible working conditions, your base is either at Gasverket in Stockholm or Sandbacka Park in Sandviken.
What we need from you
You have several years’ experience as a solution architect in international settings, and proven technical aptitude in SD-WAN, LAN, firewall, IPS, cloud connectivity services, IoT platforms and related technologies. We also believe that you have solid experience in the field of IT, and you’re used to ensuring that security is a cornerstone of any new solution design. With a good understanding of technical products and components, and how they fit together in a bigger picture, you’re good at evaluating future proof key products of technical infrastructure. You have strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to lead and co-ordinate technical development of products and services on related forums. Your experience is backed by a university degree in IT or equivalent knowledge gained from work. When it comes to language skills, English is mandatory, and Swedish is a plus.
Your personal qualities are key in this role, and you’re analytical, innovative and productive – a true optimist who always aims to be one step ahead and has the ability to translate customer needs into technical solutions. Being goal focused, you like to seize new opportunities and you lead with engagement and know how to inspire people in an empowering and trustful way.
