Network Specialist

Infrastructure Management EMEA is one of three regional teams that oversees key IT infrastructure elements that are required to deliver global business services in Alfa Laval. The team consists of mostly senior specialists working with network management, cloud solutions, and data center management. The team members are involved in everything from solution design, test, implementation, daily operations, life cycle management, incident management, training, knowledge sharing, and support of the entire Alfa Laval infrastructure.

About the job
You will primarily (but not exclusively) work in the network team, and work closely with the senior network specialist. Operational tasks include managing the Alfa Laval Cisco iWAN solution, incident management, problem solving, and coordinating with the 100+ sites all over the world. You will support with migrations, rollouts, changes to the IT infrastructure, installing, and configurations of network components. You will also run minor network initiatives and participate in IT projects.

Who you are
To succeed in this role you are curious and eager to learn, communicative, solution oriented, and a team player. You are comfortable working with both experienced technical specialists and line of business across a large global organization. Some travel may occur.

What you know
You have a relevant technical education and about 3-5 years of work experience in this field. You have experience in Cisco Network and know how to plan, maintain, and document a Network as well as how to configure Network components. You should have worked with both incident management and problem solving and be familiar with the ITIL processes.
