Network Specialist - Stockholm

Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Network Specialist who is experienced in monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.

What you'll do:
● Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
● Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
● Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
● Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team.
● Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.
Who you are:
● Experienced in WAN protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF,), LAN/WLAN (DNS, IP Addressing, QoS, Spanning Tree, Multicast), Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco ISR/ASR routers.
● Knowledge of NG-Firewalls (Multi-vendor, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, FortiGate), Security products/practices – ACLs, Firewalls, VPN, etc.
● Project experience implementing core infrastructure, networking, and cloud-based services for business teams or consumers.
● Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to articulate project level presentations to business sponsors.
● Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
