Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Network Technician to develop and manage an extensive IT network which is included in the infrastructure sub-portfolio. As an experienced network technician, the consultant will have varying tasks in a large-scale operating environment with about 800 servers.
What you'll do:
● Work proactively to develop existing networks, tools and methods and reactively to resolve incidents.
● Product liability activities and contributing to both operational and strategic activities.
● Perform troubleshooting to system failures and identify bottlenecks to ensure long term efficiency of network.
● Inspect LAN infrastructure and fix minor or major problems/bugs.
● Test and configure software and maintain and repair hardware and peripheral devices.
● Evaluate network performance and find ways of improvement.
● Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their own work.
● Regular data backups to protect the organization’s information and provide technical direction to co-workers on computer and network usage and offer comprehensive advice and instructions.

Who you are:
● Candidate must have relevant academic training, for example in system development or organizational development or equivalent knowledge acquired in a way that the employer deems equivalent.
● Possess knowledge and experience of product management in an agile context and working as a network technician in a large-scale IT infrastructure.
● Expertise of hardware and management of switches, routers, firewalls and DNS / DHCP and experience of Load balancing, VPN solutions, WLAN, Wifi.
● Ability to make clear priorities and convey these to the team and leading employees and teams in change.
● Proficiency in verbal and written communication skills of Swedish language.
● Prior experience of leading development and management in the public sector and ability to drive collaboration between different stakeholders.
● Technological experience in F5 BIG-IP LTM, 802.1.x, EvPN, BGP, VXLAN, Anycast, ECMP, Salt with Certificate-Based Authentication.
