Networking engineer that wants to work Lithuania

Manpower Professional finds and retains the most qualified people in the labour market, from executives to specialists.Especially within the following areas: Executive, Engineering, Sales & Marketing and Finance.Work description You will be employed as a consultant working at Manpower Professional Engineering.Your assignment will be as a networking engineer in a major international company.You will work with providing a mobile network system for Lithuanian mobile network operator.You will provide with system technical support and other services for operator.This engineer position is focused on providing technical support of packet data core equipment.Prior assignment is to react to costumer technical request and working on them to resolve equipment hardware and software issues.As a networking engineer you will also be involved in system expansion, optimization, new technologies introduction, projects technical aspects etc.The engineering position requires high standards of responsibility, competence, skill and readiness to be able to react to urgent issues.Occasionally you must be prepared to work off standard working hours and with a flexible work schedule.Trips abroad will be needed on a regularly basis for the purpose of training, technical support and other activities.The main workplace is at the local office in Vilnius city, Lithuania. Needed Qualification You have a University degree in computing/networking and/or electronics area.A few years of deep practical IP networking knowledge.You have a practical knowledge from network design, configuration and Cisco networking equipment.If you have a Cisco networking certificate it a plus.Understanding of other networking technologies such as Frame relay, ATM, SS is highly sought-after.Practical knowledge of Unix operating systems operation and administration.Good English skills both written and spoken. Relevant back ground?Practical knowledge an experience of mobile wireless technologies such as GSM, UMTS, WIMAX.Knowledge of GSM, UMTS theory and standards.Experience of working with advanced Cisco Solutions.Experience of working with specialized networking equipment from various vendors as deign, configuration, support and troubleshooting.Experience of working and providing support in mission critical environment.Excellent communication with customer.
