We are now looking for a New-Building Manager to join our R&D department to support our fleet expansion and growth agenda for the coming years. In this diverse role you will be responsible for the conversion of existing Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV) as well as the development and new-building of the next generation vessels. During the coming years N-O-S will develop a new line of CTV’S and at the same time enter new geographical markets which means we will have high focus on finding innovative, modern and sustainable solutions within our segments.

Your tasks
· Act as project leader for the new-building process including, planning, execution and monitoring of new building constructions.
· Take lead on conversion projects of existing vessels.
· Work closely with the management and shipyards to ensure deliverables and that schedule are met for new-buildings/conversions.
· Approve W.O’s towards shipyards in a cost efficient manner.
· Lead and support the project team in their daily work.
· Responsible for inputs to new-building projects and other dedicated projects, monitoring of costs and follow up on KPI’s.
· Support the Chartering department with client requirements.
· Continuously follow up on national and international rules and regulations.
· Close cooperation with sub-suppliers.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate has an education as marine engineer or a solid marine technical background. Previous experience as a Superintendent or as a New-Building Inspector at a shipping company is an advantage. You have a genuine interest for new technologies. You have strong project management skills with the ability to lead conversation/new-building projects from start to finish with a hands on approach and in a cost efficient manner.
You have a positive can-do attitude, you see solutions instead of problems and you are not afraid to find and try new innovative solutions. You are persistent by nature and are motivated by working in a dynamic company. You have a high work capacity and can simultaneously lead a number of different projects. You are experienced with classification and flag-state requirements. To succeed in this role you are organised and focused on achieving long-term results. You are fluent in a Scandinavian language and English.
You will report to Fredrik Hallqvist, Chief Commercial Officer, +46 761 80 80 11. Frequent travels to our vessels, shipyards, suppliers and subsidiaries will be an important part of your role.
Terms of employment
This position will start as soon as possible. You will be based at our office in Gothenburg, Sweden or Kastrup, Denmark.
