Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
The Cab & Electronics Supplier Quality organization within Scania Purchasing is responsible for proactive & reactive quality assurance of current supplier product & processes, as well as evaluation of potential supplier for upcoming business. Quality, Sustainability and Efficiency are our keywords. Who we are
We are a team of eight (with you) persons with diverse backgrounds working within the Cab interior/exterior segment of Scania Supplier Quality department. Since we belong to the Scania purchasing department we cooperate very close with our purchasing colleagues. This gives us a strength in sharing experiences and knowledge.
What you will do
In this role you will be an important contributor when it comes to supplier selections in new sourcing cases. You will follow the suppliers through the projects and make sure that they are fulfilling Scania requirements and also monitoring the suppliers performance towards Scania production. You will also be a gate keeper when it comes to introduction of new parts in Scania production. All of this you will do together with Scania purchasing, Research & Development, Scania production and of course, our suppliers.
To help you manage the tasks we have supporting processes, systems and standards and last but not least very helpful colleagues.
Where we work
Our office is based in Södertälje, Sweden, but since our suppliers are present all over the world, travelling will be a part of the job as well. The need of travelling is mainly decided by you and you are also mainly in charge of planning the travelling so that it suits your situation.
