During the last years, we have enabled some of the most impactful Nordic market entries with capital from European, American and Asian financial and industrial investors.

In order to fuel our further growth and development, we continuously seek to expand the team with new talent. At the moment we are particularly looking for an Associate with the following qualifications:

- 2-3 years experience in investment banking, strategy consulting or other transaction services
- Strong modelling skills and an understanding of corporate finance and accounting
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to manage work under pressure in a collaborative environment
- Strong academic background, bachelor/master ideally in finance or engineering
- Passion for renewable energy and infrastructure
- Fluency in English and ideally a Nordic language


As an Associate you will be an integral member of the Newsec Energy Transition transaction teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include financial analysis and modeling, managing due diligence processes, company and industry research, participating in the development of presentations and interacting with the client’s senior management/board, key shareholders, legal and technical advisors etc. Projects fall into a range of categories, including M&A, divestitures, strategic advisory, project finance etc.
