Who we are
The Networks System & Verification Performance and Capacity (NSV PAC) sector is responsible for many versatile areas within the Radio Access Network (RAN). E.g., the RAN Performance and Capacity, the baseband software and RAN compute capacity evolution and strategies, the radio guidelines, the Over The Air testing, as well as field centric activities. The PAC-sector is active in both test-, guidelines- and systems management work.

Our Exciting Opportunity
We are now looking for a newly graduated to join our team of highly skilled developers. Our responsibility is to ensure that the performance and capacity aspects of both 4G and 5G RAN is on par with our customers expectations. We work in an international environment with colleagues in Europe, Asia, and North America. We are looking for a person with strong interest in verification and test automation. We do our verification on target HW and the automation is done using Java.

In this position, during the first year, the right candidate will get a unique opportunity to rotate within the PAC-sector. The idea is to explore different parts of the responsibility areas, to meet many different colleagues and to really find out where one has the best fit and interest in. After the first year a final assignment will be defined and offered with your preference taken into consideration. We believe this unique opportunity will be a very fun and good way to start a professional career within Ericsson, and we are eager to meet you!

You will
Analyze and verify 5G RAN system solutions on target HW
Test in an end-to-end lab environment with load generators and simulators mixed with real core networks and real mobiles.
Perform 5G RAN test cases automation, using our framework and Java
Work in a team of experienced developers


To be successful in the role you are
A soon to be or recent graduate holding a Master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or the equivalent.
A great communicator and is proficient in English
Interested in SW verification
Someone with knowledge in Java
A person who enjoys teamwork
Someone with knowledge in Telecommunications, Radio and preferably also of 4G/5G protocols
