Night Trader (PART TIME), Stockholm

About our client

They were founded in Stockholm in 1999. Their goal is to provide clients with high risk-adjusted returns using systematic investment strategies, developed through scientific methods utilizing data, analysis, and technology. Research has been their DNA since the beginning and will continue to be the foundation when they develop their products, offering model-based asset management. They consist of around 80 dedicated professionals with varying backgrounds such in finance, physics, mathematics, bioinformatics, and system development. Their ability to continue to deliver value to their investors is dependent on their capacity to attract and retain exceptional talent.

About the role

Today, the trading department consists of a group of people who work in shifts around the clock to cover the world's markets. Much is automated, but the trading group is ultimately responsible for ensuring that the trade is carried out in a safe and efficient manner. We are now looking for a candidate who can work night shifts two weeks per month.

Requirements

You have an academic background in mathematics, natural sciences, technology, economics, or system development
You have two years of experience
You can communicate in English (Swedish is a plus)
You like a fast-paced work environment and can work in a structured and independent manner


As a person, we believe you are interested in financial markets and that you are structured, and detail focused. You take a high level of responsibility as well as you are a great team player. We are happy to see female applicants for the position.

This is consultancy employment, which means that you will be employed by Novare Potential and work as a consultant for our client during the first year. During the first year, you will be offered support by us as an employer and by an assigned mentor, who can guide you in e.g. the industry, the Swedish work culture, expand your Swedish network, etc. In some cases, you can also be offered a free Swedish course, digitally.After the first year, you will be directly hired by the company / [company name], provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration and that the client has a need for a direct hire. The employment is part-time. The starting date is as soon as possible or according to an agreement.
