WorkShop is the leading Retail Agency in Scandinavia with over 100 employees in Sweden and the other Nordic countries, with a turnover of over 100 million SEK. The clients are Canon, Carlsberg, Nike, Samsung and Telenor among others. WorkShop operates in business development, communications, sales and client education in retail.
As our Pacer, you'll lead the conversation between the Nike Running Brand and runners; provide them with the knowledge to make the right product choices; build trust and relationships in the running community.
You’ll develop and sustain deep relationships with RSG (Running Specialty Group) associates and runners. You’ll support the local sales force with customer service programs, product clinics, product seeding, product sell-in/sell-thru, and fit trials. You’ll create and conduct dynamic educational clinics based on specific account assortment, covering running footwear, apparel and equipment. You’ll build relationships and drive sell-through at RSG retail by assisting in Nike Events, footwear fit sessions, product trialing, weekly RSG training runs and working on the retail floor. You’ll conduct effective in-store visits; utilizing resources available to increase associates retention. You’ll partner with local RSG Sales Rep to support the sell-in process by assisting with the technical aspects of the product. You’ll effectively maintain RSG Footwear Seeding List with key influential RSG associates/runners, distribute in person and follow-up for feedback. You’ll consistently connect and educate the local running community via training runs, regional races, and in-store events. You’ll support local running events via working the retail booth, assisting in set-up, and being the face of Nike Running. You’ll be an active participant in relevant regional meetings, conference calls and account meetings/presentations. You’ll partner and collaborate with local EKIN and Nike Mobile Units to create successful Nike Running grassroots events. You’ll provide European and World Head Quarters with consumer insights, current market trends, competitor information and product feedback.
Qualifications
Requirements for the position include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
- 3 years' experience in consumer or retail marketing, specifically focused on the Running consumer
- Must have a personal running background and strong passion for the sport of running
- Must have a strong knowledge of the running industry and trends in the marketplace where the position is based
- Must have strong Nike and competitor product knowledge
- Must have an understanding of the running retail market, running customers and retail trends
- Ability to quickly establish trust and build relationships
- Ability to network and utilize internal and external resources
- Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills
- Passion for creating and driving new ideas
- Must have the ability to consistently work varied business hours and weekends
- Must possess a valid driver's license and valid car insurance
- Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Primary location: Field based
Salary: Fixed salary, as agreed
Working hours: Varied hours, minimum 160/month
Travel: Up to 75% of the time
Interview: Will be held continuously
