URS Nordic AB is present in Sweden, Finland and Norway. Responsibilities In the role of Nordic Accounts Supervisor you will be responsible for managing a small finance team, consisting of two employees. This includes organising workload, monitoring performance and approving work where necessary. You will also have to develop and maintain relationships with other members of the finance team in the Nordic-Benelux region and to pass on work accurately where applicable. You will play a leading role in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts for URS Nordic AB, including the foreign branches in Finland and Norway. The job includes booking employee expense reimbursements for Sweden and Norway and to undertake responsibility for VAT declarations for Sweden. You will also be working closely with our local accounting and payroll consultants and Nordic HR to prepare payroll for the three locations, Sweden, Finland and Norway. As Nordic Accounting Supervisor maintaining quality and ensuring accuracy is key, and you will be working within the URS quality management system. Requirements You have a degree in Accounting, Management, or Finance. You have at least 5 years of job related experience and the necessary knowledge and skills in relation to Financial Accounting, Excel spreadsheets and good organisational and time management skills. You have a flexible approach and positive attitude, ability to meet tight deadlines and good commercial acumen. Your staff supervising skills are either developed or developing. Requirements also include excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Swedish.
