ABOUT THIS ROLE
Webhelp Nordic have computer assets with peripherical equipment both in offices and at home workplaces. Changing to remote work has become a part of Webhelp's business model. To succeed in having the business remotely and in addition to enabling a geographical expansion where our employees can work everywhere in the Nordics, has also put a focus on handling the logistics and practical tasks when delivering a remote business on such a large scale.
We have made the decision to centralize the asset management and logistics to one site and make a job offering for the role as Nordic Asset & Logistics Coordinator.
This role manages a central Nordic storage facility in Norrkoping and keeps track of all the PC’s and laptops we have in the Nordic region as ASSET MANAGER, as well as managing LOGISTICS to and from the warehouse. The role also keeps track of all units that are not in use, and acts as the spider in the web, ensuring that the business runs smoothly and that logistics back and forth is managed in the most efficient way.
WE`LL TRUST YOU TO
- Take responsible for asset management and logistics in Sweden-Denmark-Finland-Latvia-Estonia. There will be an employee in Fredrikstad that is your partner for the PC/Laptops delivery in Norway.
- Since all computers that are distributed to various accounts are sent from the storage facility in Norrkoping, you will collaborate with the IT department stationed in Norrköping to facilitate the configuration of accurate profiles on the outgoing computers.
- You decide when and where computers are stored to prepare for upcoming classes, etc.
- You ensure that deliveries arrive on time and also handle returns of equipment. You are also responsible for ensuring that the asset management system is updated with correct data.
- Together with our IT team you will be responsible of our asset management where you will be keeping track of PC´s in operation and + our computer stocks within the entire Webhelp Nordic region
- Handle all computer orders from our operations and support functions.
Any new purchases needed is your decision. You work side by side with our IT Procurement & Supply Manager Markus Johansson in IT Purchasing.
- You also have contact with @home workers, keeping track of logistics back and forth to WFH employees and are in contact with delivery companies and home workers to assure deliveries and collections.
- You are the person making sure assets are returned when employees leave and decide on when it’s time for recycling-refurbishing.
- In the role, you have several contact points that can consist of both internal and external stakeholders. You also work with Webhelp Finance department in you asset management task.
- You work to make logistics processes and costs optimized.
