We are looking for a Nordic Benefits Specialist to join our Nordic Finance team. In your position as Nordic Benefits Specialist you will have a strategic role where you provide expertise, guidance and direction to the implementation of different benefit initiatives within the Nordics. You will also have the responsibility of ensuring that BCG’s benefit package is compliant and competitive.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Your role at BCG will be crucial, designing benefit packages to attract top talent and retaining valued employees. You take great joy and feel comfortable in engaging with new contacts; interacting with internal and external stakeholders, insurance brokers, HR and other contact areas which are of necessity to drive change. You will also ensure that costs associated with the different benefit packages are in line with our values, objectives and culture. The role has two dimensions: focus on Nordic employee benefit plans and HR related benefits including wellbeing and effective communication.
Benefits with focus on Nordic Employee Benefit and Insurance plans
• Defining and developing a benefit and insurance strategy
• Negotiating and owning insured benefits
• Acting as main point of contact with brokers
• Maintaining brokers and vendor relationships
Benefits with focus on HR, wellbeing and communication
• Working closely with local HR and other key stakeholders in developing a benefit strategy
• Working closely with relevant stakeholders and contributing to our benefit strategy
• Taking lead on and coordinating BCG benefits across the Nordic offices (with support from local HR)
• Being a Nordic super-user of the Benify platform
• Ensuring development of the Benify platform together with Global and local HR
• Managing benefit related queries from staff and the organization
• Looking into each Nordic market to confirm that BCG’s benefit package is competitive and leading discussions on change with BCG management
• Handling adhoc requests from the organization and conduct a benchmark if needed
• Liaising with staff and suppliers about provision and access
• Developing current benefit package
• Coordinating and communicating MDP insured benefits
• Acting as a link to Wellbeing initiatives together with Global HR and Local offices

YOU BRING EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong technical knowledge of benefit programs and prior experience with international benefit programs; preferably in multiple markets
• Prior experience with administering employee benefit plans and wellbeing programs
• Vendor management experience; including overseeing and negotiating renewals
• Strong analytical skills, demonstrated ability to interpret data and to use it to drive insights
• A high level of attention to detail, prioritization and organizational skills
• Experience with or a demonstrated interest in utilizing and learning new technologies for collaboration and communication (e.g., Trello and Slack) and experience maintaining microsites
• Excellent interpersonal skills; collaborative; strong cross-functional teaming skills
• Demonstrated experience writing benefits and wellbeing communication
• Flexibility and ability to thrive in a demanding, fast-paced and changing environment
• A high level of integrity—ability to process and handle confidential and sensitive data
• Proven track record of working effectively with people across a large and complex organization
