Nordic Channel Marketing Manager to International IT-Company

We're are looking for a Marketing Manager for a international Teach-Company in Kista. The positions temporary, filling out for a Maternity leave, start is as soon as possible and ends 2018-06-30.

You will be highly involved with developing the Nordic strategies, building the Surface brand and also have a close collaboration throughout the organisation, working closely with the Category Team and Key account Managers. Location: Kista, Stockholm.

Job Assignment

There is specific emphasis on developing, growing and optimizing the retail channel.

The retail channel is vital for growth not only for the direct revenue it generates, but also due to the retail channel's unique ability to help build brand equity and engagement due to its outreach to consumer and small business customers worldwide. Our customer has a long history of working with partners to reach end customers and this certainly applies to their retail go-to-market approach. They have developed tremendous relationships with retailers and distributors worldwide making our retail success possible.

Considered best in class, their retail teams are setting the industry standard. So, whilst they can teach you our specific market, you'll need to be a retail channel marketing expert if you're to develop and drive the flawless execution of inspired channel marketing and merchandising strategies.

Nordic Channel Marketing Surface is responsible for product launches, marketing campaigns, wide-ranging store staff programs, product demos, creative assets and retailer websites. As well as alongside retail account managers and category managers to build business cases and define promotional opportunities - analyzing market conditions, product sell-through, shopper-to-buyer conversion and competitor activity. The CM will lead the Channel Marketing team´s in Nordics regarding Surface and have the overall responsibility for setting and executing the agreed strategy

Plan

* Lead the development and implementation of channel marketing plans for both Nordic and local account-specific plans to build execution strategies
* Plan and negotiate with partners to agreed outcomes
* Lead the Nordic development of a merchandising plan that aligns partner goals to category goals to maximize profits for both parties
* Create medium and long-term marketing execution plans that maintain channel momentum through the product life cycle
* Align to seasonal planning guidelines to ensure readiness and execution in market
* Anticipate needs of the selling seasons and industry trends by creating a forecast plan

Execute

* Leverage the Retail Channel Marketing assets and Execute the marketing programs, promotions and campaigns with the partner
* Work with local vendors with the qualifications & expertise to support business needs.

Manage & Monitor

* Manage the budget/ resources/ schedule
* Build Partner and store staff relationships and gather insights
* Track KPIs / BI planner tracking (sell thru, attach, etc.)
* Analyze data to drive sell in
* Create Correction of Errors for Business Groups, Segments, Partners and other stakeholders
* Review outcomes with partners and negotiate modifications.
* Procure and assimilate consumer behavior into insights within the context of your account's profile to drive informed marketing action plans.
* Maximize ROI on future activities by measuring and optimizing marketing campaigns and promotions performance
* Anticipate and discover competitor's activities, and adjust retail marketing programs to counter.
* Analyze the partner's existing marketing capabilities in order to recognize and execute on specific local needs

Experience

* 3-5 years' experience in developing and driving partner and/or customer marketing (including focus on digital) strategy and execution.
* Be able to effectively drive cross-group communication and cooperation, using strong communication, project management, and organizational skills
* Ability to communicate effectively and concisely - both orally and in written form and to effectively influence others in multiple groups and collaborate to achieve specific objectives
* Retailer, Consumer marketing or sales background or proven knowledge of consumer selling channels
* Possess a personal passion for marketing, customer relationship marketing, technology, partners and satisfaction.
* Financial and analytical experience
* Negotiation and influencing skills that gain successful outcomes for both the partner and the company.
