Nordic Credit Manager (HSB and REL Benelux) From the office of Dell AB in Stockholm, the Collections activities are done for the entire Nordic Region, HSB (Home and Small Business) and REL (Relational), for Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark.With an enthusiastic team you are responsible for the entire process of Collections, your aim and drive is to achieve high targets. Job description Your responsibility is to Managing the Credit Collections & Credit Control Team in Stockholm office.Some of your duties are: . Report on a weekly basis to the BNLX & Scandinavia Credit Manager and Finance Director Nordics about the status of AR balances and all related figures.. Provide quarterly and annual reviews of existing transactions on a timely basis and subsequent discussion with Senior Management Nordics and Credit Manager Benelux for approval . Responsible for following the EMEA credit policy and assures that the credit approval process is in line with the policy.. Responsible for DSO (Days Sales Outstanding), write-offs, BDP (Bad Debt Provisioning) and Cost Budget .Report on a weekly basis to the Finance Director Nordics with status of Credit Control backlogs . Provide quarterly and annual reviews of existing transactions on a timely basis and subsequent discussion with Senior Management Nordics for approval Who are you Since you will have contact with colleagues from the Finance department, as well as colleagues from Sales, Customer Care and external customers good communication skills are an absolute requirement.Ability to manage upwards and ability to communicated on a higher management level internally as well as externally is also of importance. Your drive to solve problems should be a leading motive in all work you deal with.Furthermore, you work in an independent way and take initiatives and have the capability to solve complex issues.You also know to judge as to when you should report to senior staff problems which should be escalated on a higher level and are able to report these issues in an effective and correct manner. The issues you deal with can diverge from complex to (semi)-routine issues.This requires a flexible attitude, business acumen, insight and experience.You are capable of prioritising the workload and creating focus on what's important in order to accomplish the goals set.Background .Financial Background (at least 5 year working experience in credit management/ finance field required) . People management . Working knowledge of financial systems . Good knowledge of Excel .
