We are now looking for a Nordic Finance Manager to our customer based in Kista, Stockholm. PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF ROLE: To manage the finances and co-ordinate budgeting and reporting activities of the company and its branch offices. Support HR related issues within the Nordic region. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: (Including level of responsibility where necessary) Monthly Nordic consolidation of Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Baltic states Budgeting co-ordination Actual versus budget reporting Cash flow forecasting and funding planning Co-ordination of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual group reporting including Liaison with group auditors Tax compliance, VAT , other reporting and planning Management of finance function including one Accounting Assistant Manage salary payments and other related hard HR issues Make 3-9 months financial scenarios based on order stock sales development Overlook funds and assets Ad hoc reporting and general control over the finances Advisor in business planning and investment calculations Advisor in HR questions Simplify internal routines and if required implement new routines It may be necessary to undertake any other such duties as reasonably required tohelp maintain an efficient and flexible environment within the organisation. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES/POSITION IN STRUCTURE: (Outline of organisation chart) Accounting assistant TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED: SAP Business One (under implementation), Pyramid (current system), Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Hogia lön PERSON SPECIFICATION PHYSICAL APPEARANCE: ESSENTIAL - Professional KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL Suitable finance/accountant qualification At least 5 years experience in a financial manager role Knowledge of difference in International accounting practices (US GAAP, IFSR) Computer literate Excellent English language skills Corporation tax experience including transfer pricing Deep understanding of an ERP system, particularly SAP Business One (under implementation) DESIRABLE Expert level knowledge of spreadsheets Experience from the Nordic region Able to read and understand Finnish, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian documents Knowledge of the differences in Finance and HR regulations in the Nordic countries Experience of working in a publicly owned companyDeep understanding of Pyramid (current system) BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS: ESSENTIAL High attention to detail, double-checking Organised and flexible approach Able to work in a dynamic environment, accepts and engage in organisational change Happy to work with people of different background/nationality and in a matrix organisation Good inter-personal skills, team worker Commercial understanding of a business operation and the need to care for customers Flexible to work long hours in conjunction with monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. DESIRABLE Diplomatic but precise Prepared to undertake some amount of business travelling Experience in leading a small finance team Sense of humour
