As the Nordic HR Director, you will drive performance improvement by ensuring that the HR agenda is focused on the business needs. Manage, direct and report on the HR functions, as per Dufry HR policies and procedures, and in compliance with country labor regulations.




Key responsibilities

Lead organizational transformations, sponsor the deployment of HR staff with appropriate skills on transformation programs and projects as required, implement efficiency programs. Active FTE / resources management.
Continuously review the effectiveness and alignment with agreed strategies of the organization design.
Provide strategic and operational HR advice in the Nordics.
Lead Talent acquisition and Sourcing.
Manage Talent and Succession planning and People Engagement.
Maintain salary and incentive programs aligned to local relevant labor market.
Accountable for the HR budget and HR accounts to ensure costs are contained within budget.
Accountable for labor relations functions such as absenteeism, disciplinary records, grievances and legal disputes, defining, delivering and supervising appropriate labor relations services.
Manage and handle relationships with trade union representatives, leading the collective bargaining process.
Report and monitor HR metrics (KPI) - initiate correction actions as appropriate.
Accountable for company processes and regulations regarding working environment.
Data protection, bribery compliance responsible
Risk assessment and safe working environment, including insurances
Knowledge of market market moves and new laws and regulations - active planning
Induction planning, on-boarding, training plans, engagement strategies.
Compensation benefits, sick plans, pensions, staff incentive programs - terms and conditions





Qualifications

Fluency in Swedish and English language, verbal and written
The ideal HR Director candidate should have experience in a labor-intensive and fast-paced working environment
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role is required, with 7-8 years preferred.
Experience in a security-classified industry is an advantage. (The recruitment process for this role is extensive and includes special reference checks, security interviews, a background check covering the last five years, and a requirement for Swedish citizenship or permanent residency.)
It is crucial that the candidate has managed direct reports and has previous experience with personnel responsibility, as well as leading their own teams.
Experience in handling collective agreements, particularly within the retail sector, is important. The candidate should have worked with agreements such as Handels, Unionen, or similar. Experience in the hospitality industry is also a plus.
Interest in and experience with systems and digital solutions for automating HR processes and reports are essential. Systems such as SuccessFactors, Agda PS, E-time, Visma sign, TooEasy, Talent Software are desirable.
Experience with payroll systems and payroll processes is important for improving the current situation.
A university degree within HR, or similar, is desirable
