The role offers the opportunity for an ambitious candidate to help execute Azets’ buy and build strategy by playing a central role in driving, planning, budgeting and overseeing all aspects of the integration process for Nordic acquisitions. You will work in close collaboration with the regional M&A team and report to the Group Head of M&A.

The role offers the opportunity for an ambitious candidate to help execute Azets’ buy and build strategy by playing a central role in driving, planning, budgeting and overseeing all aspects of the integration process for Nordic acquisitions. You will work in close collaboration with the regional M&A team and report to the Group Head of M&A.

Main responsibilities
* Being the conductor of the orchestra when it comes to integration, from the point of a closed transaction until completed integration with Azets’ way of working, required systems and necessary collaboration channels while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in collaboration with Azets’ Compliance team, as well as keeping track of risks and ensuring no issues are overlooked
* Involvement across M&A transactions including due diligence with focus on integration planning, and refinement of integration plans post deal signing and closing
* Working with key stakeholders within Azets, including in operations, support functions, and the acquired business to ensure integration delivery of the key business objectives
* Ownership of integration governance structure, including steering committees and related workstreams and progress update briefings
* Ownership of integration budgets
* Manage third party providers for the integration process
* Management of synergy benefits cases, from planning and case creating during due diligence to post-closing implementation, tracking and realisation of synergies
* Ensuring a highly positive and rewarding integration journey for employees in acquired entities to maximise post-deal retention

About you

We believe you have previous experience of:
* Working within business integrations
* Working within business transformation programmes in a professional services environment
* Project delivery within a wider programme of business change
* Experience working within a matrix management environment
* Experience owning and managing budgets

Experience of accountancy, finance or practice of management systems is considered an advantage. As a person you must be determined, able to work autonomously under pressure and thrive in a fast-evolving business environment. You are self-motivated and an exceptional communicator who motivates individuals and groups. Ultimately you are both organised and collaborative.
