UPS Marketing department is looking for a high-performing and motivated candidate for a role of Revenue Management Specialist to join the Marketing Operations team within the Marketing Department. The team consists of three driven, productive, and goal-oriented specialists that prepare customer pricing offers as well as develop pricing strategies across customer channels in the Nordic & Ireland Division.
The Revenue Management specialist is primarily responsible for conducting analysis and preparing agreements for approval using revenue management tools. This position supports the sales team in their efforts to grow profitable volume through incentive proposals, answers pricing-related questions, and provides supplemental information to sales during the pricing appeal process. The candidate runs independent projects but also works closely with the team on developing and executing pricing strategies.
Job duties include:
Develop appropriate pricing strategies for individual account in collaboration with the Sales team.
Compare and benchmark sales requests to competitive market rates for similar type account.
Implement incentive agreements.
Ensure compliance with UPS revenue management policies and profitability goals.
Complete pricing analysis with development of appropriate strategies for customer channels
Obtain knowledge of pricing systems and tools to accurately monitor proposals through the bid cycle.
Works with appropriate internal systems to ensure timely and accurate pricing implementation.
Run ad hoc queries to answer requests for information from our internal customers.

Required Qualifications:
Fluent in spoken and written English
Bachelor’s degree with specialization in business, economics or science, Master is an advantage
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of financial terminology and concepts
Additional advantageous qualifications:
Previous work experience in Finance or Marketing
Experience in data analysis and with data processing
Experience with pricing strategies
